PartnerScope® Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 29, 2026
Last Updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Evolve Growth Partners, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("EGP," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with PartnerScope®, including our website, application, assessments, reports, and related services (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service, and capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given there.
PartnerScope® is a business service. It is built for people acting on behalf of companies, and it is not intended for personal, family, or household use.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us.
- Account information: business email address, company name, your company's industry and size range, and your name if you sign in with Google or Microsoft. We do not use passwords. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email or with your Google or Microsoft work account, and you may add an authenticator app for two-step sign-in.
- Assessment content: the responses, ratings, comments, and other material you submit in an assessment ("Your Content").
- Partner information: if you invite someone to an assessment, the name, business email address, and company name you provide for them.
- Billing information: billing contact, billing address, and payment details. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor, and we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications: messages you send us, support requests, and survey or feedback responses.
- Chat questions: if you use the chat assistant on our public pages, we keep the questions you type, without your name, email address, or IP address, to improve our answers and our site.
1.2 Information we collect automatically. When you use the Service, we collect device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, operating system, referring pages, pages and features used, dates and times of access, and similar usage and log data. We collect this through server logs, the strictly necessary cookies described in Section 9, and the cookie-free page analytics described in Section 9.
1.3 Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from the person or company that invited you to an assessment, from your employer if it holds the license, from our service providers, and from publicly available business sources. If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and any other basic profile information that provider shares with us.
1.4 Information we ask you not to submit. Do not submit sensitive personal information, such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or information about a person's race, religion, sexual orientation, or immigration status. Do not submit another company's trade secrets or information you are not permitted to share. If you submit this information anyway, we may delete it, and we are not responsible for it.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, maintain, and support the Service, including creating accounts, sending invitations, generating scores and reports, and sharing results as described in Section 4;
- process payments and administer licenses and subscriptions;
- communicate with you about the Service, including invitations, reminders, notices, security alerts, and administrative messages;
- send you information about EGP, PartnerScope®, and related services, where permitted by law and subject to your right to opt out;
- analyze use of the Service and improve its features, content, scoring, and methodology;
- create De-Identified Data and use it as described in Section 6;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
- comply with law, respond to legal process, and protect our rights and the rights of others; and
- carry out any other purpose we describe when we collect the information, or with your consent.
3. Legal Bases (for Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
Where those laws apply, we process personal data on these bases: performance of our contract with you or your company; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service and in developing benchmarks and research from De-Identified Data; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent, where we ask for it. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
4. How Information Is Shared Between the Two Sides of a Partnership
PartnerScope® exists to compare perspectives from both sides of a partnership. That means sharing is built into how the Service works.
4.1 Invited assessments. When a user invites a Partner to complete an assessment, or when you accept an invitation, results will be shared between the two sides. Depending on the assessment, shared information may include your responses, scores, comparative results, gap analyses, and reports, together with your name and company.
4.2 Notice and consent. Before you send an invitation, and before you begin an assessment you were invited to, the Service will show you a notice explaining what the other side will see. By continuing, you consent to that sharing. If you do not want your information shared, do not send the invitation or start the assessment. We keep a record of your consent.
4.3 What we control. We decide what is shared, in what form, and when, and we may change those settings. We may withhold, delay, or redact any result where we think that is appropriate or legally required.
4.4 After sharing. Once your Partner has received information, we do not control what they do with it. Any confidentiality commitments between you and your Partner are a matter between the two of you.
5. Other Disclosures
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information in these other situations:
- Service providers. We use vendors that help us run the Service, such as hosting, storage, email delivery, error monitoring, payment processing, customer support, and security providers. They may use your information only to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Your company. If your employer or another organization holds the license through which you use the Service, we may share account and usage information with that organization, including its administrators.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of EGP, our users, or others, or to detect and prevent fraud and security incidents.
- Business transfers. If EGP is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor this Policy for information already collected, or give notice of any material change.
- With your direction or consent. We may share information for any other purpose you direct or consent to.
- De-Identified Data. As described in Section 6.
6. De-Identified and Aggregated Data
6.1 What we do. We create data from the Service and from Your Content in a de-identified and aggregated form ("De-Identified Data"). We use it for research, benchmarking, analytics, product and methodology development, marketing, and publications, reports, and presentations.
6.2 What de-identified means. De-Identified Data has been processed so that it does not identify, and could not reasonably be used to identify, a specific customer, partner company, or individual. We do not name a customer, a partner company, or a person in any publication of De-Identified Data.
6.3 Our commitments. We maintain and use De-Identified Data only in de-identified form. We take reasonable measures to ensure it cannot be associated with a person, household, or company. We will not attempt to re-identify it, and we require anyone we give it to, by contract, to make the same commitment and not to attempt re-identification. We use minimum group sizes and other statistical techniques when producing aggregated results so that small groups are not singled out.
6.4 Duration. De-Identified Data is no longer your personal information or Your Content. It is not affected by deletion of your account or of Your Content, and we may keep and use it after you stop using the Service.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and for a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business purposes, including meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, and maintaining backups and security logs. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or de-identify it. Retention periods vary by data type, and we may keep information longer where the law requires or permits.
8. Security and Incidents
8.1 Safeguards. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and limits on who inside EGP can see Your Content. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost.
8.2 Misdirected and unintended disclosures. Information can be sent to the wrong person despite safeguards. This can happen through our error, a user's error, a Partner's error, an incorrect email address, a forwarded link or login, or the act of a third party. Please enter contact details carefully and do not share login credentials or links.
8.3 What we do if it happens. If we learn that information was disclosed to an unintended recipient, we will investigate, take reasonable steps to stop further access and retrieve or suppress the information, and ask the unintended recipient to stop using it, delete it, and confirm they have done so. Where the law requires us to notify affected individuals, customers, or regulators, we will do so in the form and time the law requires. We may also tell the affected company or user directly where we think that is appropriate.
8.4 If you receive information by mistake. Stop reading it, do not use, copy, or share it, tell us at legal@evolvegrowthpartners.com, and delete it.
8.5 Removing information you shared. If you shared information by mistake, such as by inviting the wrong Partner, contact us at legal@evolvegrowthpartners.com as soon as possible. We will take reasonable steps to suppress or recall what we can, but we cannot guarantee that information already viewed, downloaded, or copied can be retrieved.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only the cookies needed to run the Service: to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure. These cookies are strictly necessary, so the Service cannot work without them. If you block them in your browser settings, you will not be able to sign in.
We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, and we do not use pixels, local storage, or similar technologies to track you across websites or for advertising.
On our public pages, our hosting provider's analytics counts page views, referring sites, and general device, browser, and country information. It does not use cookies or store anything in your browser, it does not follow you across websites, and it is not used for advertising. It never runs on signed-in pages or on shared report links, and we remove anything after the page address, such as search terms or sign-in codes, before it is counted.
When something goes wrong, our error-monitoring provider receives technical details about the error so we can fix it. We remove email addresses, sign-in links, and form contents before those details are sent, and this provider does not set cookies.
When you pay through our payment processor, or choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, you leave the Service for that provider’s own pages. Those providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
If we add non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires.
We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, because we do not track you across websites. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it.
10. Your Choices and Rights
10.1 Account and communications. You can update your account information in the Service. You can opt out of marketing emails using the link in any message or by writing to us. We will still send you transactional and administrative messages.
10.2 Privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to appeal a decision on your request. To make a request, email legal@evolvegrowthpartners.com. We will verify your identity before acting, which may involve matching information you give us to information we hold. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will review the appeal and respond in writing.
10.3 Limits. We may decline a request where the law allows, including where we cannot verify you, where the request would reveal another person's information or our confidential methodology, or where we need the information to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Information that has already been shared with your Partner, and De-Identified Data, may not be recoverable or deletable.
10.4 Individuals at companies. If you use the Service through your employer or another company, that company may control the account and some of the information in it. We may refer your request to that company.
10.5 California and other U.S. state notices. We collect the categories of information listed in Section 1 and disclose them for the business purposes described in Sections 2 and 5. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those the law permits.
11. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International Users and Transfers
12.1 Where we operate. EGP is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. EGP is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy, which means we decide how and why it is used. The Service may be used by businesses and individuals in other countries, but we do not represent that it meets every local legal requirement outside the United States.
12.2 Transfers. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
12.3 Transfer safeguards. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism for personal data moving from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on an adequacy decision where one applies. Otherwise, we will enter into the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (together with the UK addendum where it applies) or use another mechanism recognized by applicable law. You can request information about the safeguards we use by writing to legal@evolvegrowthpartners.com.
12.4 Sharing across borders. The Service shares results between the two sides of a partnership, and your Partner may be located in another country. When you consent to sharing under Section 4, you acknowledge that your information may be sent to a Partner in a country with different data protection rules, and that we cannot control how your Partner protects it.
12.5 Complaints. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
12.6 Business customers. If your company needs a data processing addendum, or another contract covering cross-border transfers, contact us at legal@evolvegrowthpartners.com.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to or work with third-party sites and services. Their privacy practices are not covered by this Policy, and we are not responsible for them.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version and change the date above, and where changes are material we will notify you by email or in the Service. Your continued use after the effective date is your acceptance of the update.
